KM Central Hotel Refurbishment

In summer 2017 we completed this project to refurbish a 5 storey hotel in Edinburgh City Centre which is owned, and operated, by the University of Edinburgh.  The facility offers 45 double en-suite rooms for use by the public as well as providing lodgings for visiting lecturers and delegates of University Conferences and events.

The works - hich involved the refurbishment of all existing bedrooms, along with the conversion of existing pantries on the upper floors to form additional guest rooms - improved the standard of accommodation provided and increased its overall star rating.

The Project also involved the comprehensive refurbishment and remodeling of the existing Ground Floor “Common Room” to provide a new dining area and café which allows the hotel to provide an enhanced breakfast service for guests. The upgraded space also offers a range of social and academic facilities for use by Post Graduate Students as well as guests of the hotel.
