At CBC we are committed to driving local employment within the communities in which we work. We have a proven track record in training operatives and tradesmen and pride ourselves on the high quality of apprenticeship and re-training programmes we provide.
We view Term and Partnership Contracts as ideal opportunities to introduce schemes to encourage local people into apprenticeships, or back into employment through re-training.  In recent years we have participated in several publicly funded programmes including Drumchapel Opportunities and the Modern Apprenticeship Scheme introduced by Glasgow City Council. We are extremely proud of the fact that our apprenticeship levels are not only well above the national average, but also exceed the recommended levels set by the Scottish Construction Industry Training Board.
