50% of our business is delivered utilising Design and Build or Design, Develop and Construct procurement routes. Using these procurement routes enables us to influence the total sustainability issue from sourcing of local materials and labour, offsite construction and prefabrication techniques. We have embarked on our fifth project to achieve a BREEAM (our new Headquarters) and have achieved scores ranging from Very Good to Excellent under this scheme. In addition, CBC operate a strict Environmental Management System which is ISO 14001:2004 accredited. We also hold OHSAS 18001:2007 certification for our Health and Safety Management System and ISO 9001:2008 accreditation for our Quality Management System and, as such, have developed an Integrated Management System (IMS) which meets the requirements of all three standards. Our Company is also a certified Investor In People and a CHAS Accredited Contractor and is registered with the Considerate Constructors Scheme and Constructionline.
