St Andrews Square – Glasgow – £12 Million
This complex of 234 luxury apartments was part of the phased re-development programme to rejuvenate the historic square and restore the stunning A-listed former church which now houses the popular “St Andrews in the Square” music venue. In addition to the new build block, we also worked on the B Listed “Bookend” Buildings which were the old orphanage (Naismith Building) and the former Hide Skin and Tallow. Both buildings had their facades retained and a new core built out internally to form modern residential accommodation.
Throughout the design process, it was vital to ensure that the new modern terraced blocks complimented the existing historic surroundings and were in keeping with the elegance and style of their neighbouring buildings. NEXT>>
